2013年にはシリーズ第四作となる中短編集『Johnny Alucard』が本国で刊行され、話題となりました。日本ではアトリエサード発行の《ナイトランド・クォータリー》にて同作の一部が訳出（植草昌実 訳）されており、2015年5月刊行の第一号でプロローグ部分にあたる「血の約束―ドラキュラ紀元1944」（Promises to Keep: Anno Dracula 1944）が、2016年5月刊行の第五号で「砂漠の城―ドラキュラ紀元1977」（Castle in the Desert: Anno Dracula 1977）が掲載されています。

今年、2017年は『吸血鬼ドラキュラ』初版刊行120周年ですが、同時に〈ドラキュラ紀元〉イヤー、キム・ニューマン・イヤーなのではないかというほどに彼の刊行でトピックがいくつもあり、見逃せません。まず、来たる1月24日に『Anno Dracula 1899 and Other Stories』が刊行されます。〈ドラキュラ紀元〉新作短編 “Yokai Town（妖怪タウン）: Anno Dracula 1899”や、エドガー・アラン・ポーやジャック・ザ・リッパー、フランケンシュタインなどを題材とした短編など、21編を収録したホラー短編集。下記、dreadcentralの紹介記事にて収録作のタイトルが掲載されています。

そして、ポール・マキャフリー作画によるコミカライズ『Anno Dracula 1895: Seven Days in Mayhem』が3月22日に配信リリースされます。完全新作エピソード。さる1月14日付でアップされたキム・ニューマンの最新インタビュー記事で、同コミカライズについて語っています。コミック本編の一部も掲載。

さらに極めつけは、シリーズ第五作『Anno Dracula 1999: Daikaiju（大怪獣）』が10月3日に刊行予定。1999年の大晦日の東京を発端として、サイバーパンク、カイジュウ、ヤクザなどをブッこんだ一作になるそうなので、既に期待感がうなぎのぼりです。
